Meissen Porcelain Yellow Tiger or Gelber Lowe Pattern Vase, 1740
A Nice Example of the Yellow Tiger Pattern also known as Gelber Lowe from Meissen of a Small Vase circa 1740. Nicely Painted with Kakiemon Flowers and the Yellow Tiger Prowling Round Bamboo. This Pattern was first commissioned from around 1729-1731 by Paris Merchant Rudolf Lemaire. Another example with same base number 24 went under the Hammer at Cambi Auctions 12th June 2024 (they say its 1735) but I have my Doubts, Never the less a Nice Early and Rare Example
