An Unusual Pot from Meissen with Chinoiserie Child Playing with a Mythical Beast. I Can't find another piece of Meissen with a Chinoiserie Figure Playing with a Mythical Beast, quite a Rare Pot Decorated by A F von Lowenfinck (attached are Photos of other Lowenfinck works). Has the Meissen Cross Swords and inscribed mark to the base. Dating from around 1740.
Size: 5cm high x 5cm wide
Condition: Rim chip and fritting, someone has found a need to put a hole in the base (why I have no idea)
