A Frankenthal sweetmeat figure c.1770, emblematic of Autumn, modelled by Johann Friedrich Lück, a dandified gentleman seated beside a deep scrolled basket.  Has the Carl Theodor Mark

Cf. The Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum No. C.44-1989, for a similar figure of Winter. These seasonal sweetmeats were from a table centrepiece, only three of which are recorded today.

.Size: 15 1/2 cm High

Condition: Broken Fingers, Chipped Hat and Vine Chipped, In Original Condition, No Restoration.
