This Meissen Tea Cup & Saucer Painted in Puce and Gilt Trim. The Cup has an Unusual Commedia dell'arte Harlequin Painted on the Cup. The Saucer has a Very Strange Scene of what Seems to be a Male Figure Floating in the Air with Onlookers. Quite Strange as this was Made in the Early 1700's. Both Pieces have Drehers Marks to the Inner Rims, The Saucer looks Like and Impressed 2 like the Cup (but strange place to add it)or its a Drehers Mark. The Cups Dreher is either Kuttel or Kunnel. The Cup Also has a Strange Gilt Signature.
Size: Tea Cup 4 1/2cm High x 8cm wide, Saucer 13cm wide.
Condition: Minor wear to the Saucer but otherwise in Very Good Condition.
