Meissen Figural Potpourri Vase 1850
Decorated with Woman and Putto with Basket of Grapes, branches of Vine Leaves with Grapes, the Central Panel of a Musical Scene. The Lid Finial is in the form of a Bird, Beneath this is a Monkey Picking Grapes and Scattered Bugs.The base is formed of Rocaille legs. Originally Modelled by J Kander circa 1750. Has the Meissen Cross Swords and Impressed Numbers to the base.
