New Hall "Mythical Beast" Cup & Saucer.

This beautiful porcelain example, created between 1781 and 1835. Decorative patterns in gilt and light blue swirl across a deep blue underglaze background. On each side of the teapot, a mythical creature with a cat-like body, forked tail and wings is captured mid-prowl.... I'm not sure of the Name for the Pattern and can only find 2 examples of Teapots (but no name for the pattern)..

Size: Cup 6cm high x 10.5cm wide, Saucer 13.5cm wide
