A Nice Example of a Meissen Harlequin Playing the Bagpipes. Painted with a sea-green pointed hat, a white jacket with a ruff and purple knee breeches and yellow shoes. On a rock pedestal with appliquéd flowers. Underglaze blue sword mark to the rear of base. Made in 1745.
