Bow Porcelain Sweetmeat Figure of a Levantine Lady, circa 1754
Wearing a high yellow headdress, white coat over a long white gown, delicately painted with a scrolling pattern and pink pantaloons, modelled seated holding an upturned shell supported by coral encrusted with smaller shells, the interior with a floral spray within scattered blooms. Previously Sold at Christies, Lot 895, Pitchford Hall Sale September 1992.... Another example is in the V & A Museum
