A Nicely Painted Tea Bowl and Saucer from Meissen. The Saucer has scene of a Man Playing the Bagpipes for Women. The Tea Bowl shows a more Amorous Scene, (The Woman must have liked the Music as He's now Clutching Her Breast). This is all within a beautifully painted frame. The Inside of the Tea Bowl there is a Countryside Scene. Both pieces have a fresh matching gilt border, the underside of the Saucer has painted Flowers. Both have Painted Cross Swords and Impressed Numbers. Circa 1740
Size: Tea Bowl 5cm high x 8.5cm wide, Saucer 12.5cm wide x 3cm high
Condition: Minor Wear to the Gilt Rim
