Meissen Tea Cup & Saucer Painter Klinger Bugs and Flowers. (Johann Gotffried) Klinger was the Name associated with the Style of these Painted Bugs and Flowers as he was the first to create the Shadow Effect. Both Pieces have Nice Crisp Brown Painted Rims and Made between 1735-40. They have the Meissen Cross Swords, Both have an Artist letter h on the Inner Rim and the Saucer has double II perhaps for Grutner Junior.
Size: Tea Cup 5 1/4cm High x 7cm wide, Saucer 12cm wide.
Condition: Minor Restoration to Handle, Has Small Line Made During Firing but Otherwise in Very Good Condition.
