Meissen Porcelain Fluted Tea Bowl with Floral Imari Pattern, 1735-1740
A Nice Early Fluted Tea Bowl painted with Floral Imari Pattern, Has the Blue Cross Swords, letter K and a Triangle mark to the base. The K mark is either Johann David Kretzschmar (1697-1765) or Johann Gottfried Klinger, Who worked for Meissen from 1726-1746 also known for painting shadow bugs and flowers... Another example of this Tea Bowl with Saucer can be seen in The National Museum of American History, that was previously in the Smithsonian Museum (photo attached). They date it from 1730-1735.. I think it's possibly slightly later
Size: Tea Bowl 4.5cm high x 7.5cm wide
